Host card emulation for Visa in Way4 Digital Banking app
The Way4 Digital Banking app now supports VDEP tokenization service. This feature improves the in-store checkout experience. Way4 Digital Banking front-end connects to Way4 Tokenization via Way4 HCE SDK. Using our app, the customer can pay by tapping his or her smartphone to a POS terminal that accepts Visa contactless payments.
Tokenization functionality based on HCE has been supported in previous Way4 releases. To launch a digital wallet for contactless payments faster, issuers can use the Way4 Tokenization and Way4 Contactless Wallet modules. Also, they can leverage Way4 HCE SDK to implement contactless payments in their own digital payment apps such as a mobile banking or digital wallet app.
We plan to support a similar Mastercard tokenization service in Way4 Digital Banking in next releases .
