Real-Time Tip Payments to a Waiter’s Card Account

Now Way4 Acquiring can deposit tips to a waiter’s card account right after a customer pays on POS. Waiters can access their tip earnings immediately, contributing to a more rewarding work experience. Previously, Way4 could only accumulate cashless tips on an internal account and transfer them in a single transaction to personnel at the end of the day.

The new acquiring workflow consists of the following steps:

  1. Prior to accepting tips, the payment destination card should be registered on the POS terminal. The waiter either taps his or her card, or enters an ID linked to this card at the beginning of the work shift.

  2. When a customer pays on POS, the bill and tip amount are charged at the same time.

  3. The terminal immediately initiates a second operation, directing the tip to the waiter’s card.

  4. The customer receipt is printed, showing both payments.
