We have developed a new REST API for issuers and wallet providers who need to embed the four-eyes principle in processing customer applications. This feature enables financial institutions to create flexible and secure workflows for online product sales. The four-eyes principle helps prevent internal fraud, minimize human errors, and maintain compliance with internal and external regulations.When someone requests a new card or account via your API-based web and mobile interface, Way4 can create a new application in the back-end, instead of immediate approval or rejection. A dual review by your team will be necessary to make a decision. The application status can also be displayed to customers on their end.
Previously the four-eyes approval workflows were available only for the applications created within a dedicated Way4 workbench or received through the Applications interface.
A license is required to deploy Way4 REST API for payment methods applications. As a prerequisite, the issuer or wallet provider should also have a license for the Way4 Cardholder application workflow.
