Payments funded via social aid certificates

<New feature, separately licensed>

Now Way4 can authorize transactions that are funded by social aid certificates (vouchers) managed in an external system. These payment instruments allow individuals to purchase subsidized products such as personal medical devices. This functionality works both on the issuing and acquiring sides. It can help your company generate revenue from partnership with agencies that oversee social aid distribution.

During the purchase at a participating merchant, Way4 checks whether a certificate is assigned to the cardholder and if it can be applied to the cart contents.

In the case of insufficient certificate funds, it’s possible to take the remainder from the payment card balance. Way4 can also process refunds on transactions, sending the amount due back to the certificate balance and to the payment card, if applicable.

You can contact your BRM to find out if there is a ready-made interface to the certificate management system in your country.
