New Wallet API Layer

OpenWay is working on a new multi-purpose API layer for the Way4 Wallet solution. It will allow clients to embed wallet functionality for consumers, merchants and agents into their custom front-end systems.

The Way4 Wallet API will cover various areas, including:

  • Onboarding and KYC

  • Payments and transfers

  • Managing wallet profile scenarios

  • Transaction history and analytics

We are also updating the native front end of Way4 Consumer Wallet to interface with the API layer. When used as a bundle, our clients can enrich their wallet functionality with the back-end technologies of their choice. The resulting system will remain compatible with the whole Way4 ecosystem, including issuing, acquiring, and payment switching.
