Now Way4 supports cash-by-QR transactions on ATMs. This option minimizes customers’ need to touch the ATM terminal, which accommodates people’s personal health concerns during the pandemic.
A customer may be required to touch the ATM just once in the beginning to request a QR code. The rest of the transaction can be carried out on the customer’s mobile banking or mobile wallet application, including code scanning, input of the withdrawal amount and currency, selection of the source account and preferred banknotes. The Way4 system securely fetches data from the mobile app and dispenses cash accordingly.
For certain ATM configurations it is even possible to completely avoid any contact with the terminal and provide a 100% touchless experience.
