We have developed a new solution for merchants to help them set up digital payment acceptance at check-out and perform b2b and b2m payments to suppliers and partners. Merchant wallet can be a replacement for the costly POS infrastructure and help the financial institution attract micro, small and medium merchants.

Generating a QR code for the transaction and performing a refund in Way4 Merchant Wallet

Merchant Wallet functionality covers:

  • Merchant enrollment

  • KYC process and management, including setting up several KYC levels with pre-defined rules and restrictions

  • Transaction history and financial reporting

  • Payment acceptance, money transfers, regular and scheduled payouts

  • Instant refunds

  • QR code management

  • Business-to-business management

The solution consists of three parts:

  1. Merchant Wallet App, used by the cashier at the check-out for enrollment and KYC, accepting payments, making refunds and viewing transaction history and notifications.

  2. Merchant Wallet back office, used by the officers of the wallet operator to enroll new merchants, review employees’ profiles and upgrade KYC levels, manage tariffs and fees, set regular pay-outs to the pre-defined accounts, and more.

  3. Merchant Portal, used by a merchant's manager for onboarding of cashiers, creation of locations and terminals, uploading documents for the KYC, viewing transaction history and limits, creating and printing out static QR codes, making B2B payments and initiating fast payouts.

To ease the links between Merchant Wallet and other (sub)systems, all the integrations with and within the solution are performed via APIs.
