Web Service for Verifying Allowed Transactions on the Issuing Side

Now cardholders can be more easily informed about allowed operations for their cards, thanks to Way4 providing this information to external front-end systems. For example, a bank clerk can check whether a card is eligible for a particular transaction type and share details with the customer. The Way4 response can include the amount and currency of the expected transaction fee.

Previously, this feature worked only for retail payments and ATM cash withdrawals. Now this functionality also covers:

  • Crediting due to money transfer from another card or account

  • Debiting or crediting due to P2P transfers

  • Debiting due to purchase of travelers cheques, wallet account top-up and other quasi-cash transactions
