• How can Africa build future-ready, inclusive financial ecosystems that connect both regionally and globally?

  • How can we modernize payment infrastructures across the continent while ensuring resilience and scalability?

  • How can AI unlock sustainable growth across the payment value chain?

These were among the key questions discussed at APIDE 2026, where banks, processors, consulting firms, fintechs, and regulators from across North Africa and beyond came together for open, meaningful dialogue.

The OpenWay team was proud to participate in APIDE 2026 and to engage in discussions around the real needs of today’s payment markets in North Africa, as well as the strategic priorities driving the future of payments across the region. We also shared practical client use cases from other markets—Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Latin America, demonstrating how proven solutions can be adapted to meet local needs.

What stood out most for us was the quality of interactions. Industry leaders exchanged perspectives openly, challenged assumptions, and explored practical paths for decisive transformation from strategy to execution.

We would like to sincerely thank the APIDE organizers and all participants for making this experience possible. The diversity of formats, the depth of discussions, and the thoughtfully designed networking moments created a truly special partnership atmosphere, fostering trust, openness, and long-term collaboration.

Let’s turn ideas into real impact and shape the future of payments in Morocco and Tunisia — together!
