There are numerous background processes running in Way4 like the process of discovery and archival of outdated records (Way4 Housekeeping), the synchronization process between the nodes (Way4 High Availability), the process of locking user accounts that haven't logged in for more than 90 days (locking inactive officers), and others. They need to be stopped and restarted periodically for various reasons, such as system maintenance or to clone the database. If the system architecture consists of multiple nodes, each node manages these processes independently. Over time, the number of processes increases, making manual management difficult. Now Way4 can automatically stop and start these processes, according to preconfigured rules.
