Advanced configuration of the dispute activities timetable

Now, Way4 gives dispute officers more options that save time during dispute planning and help meet deadlines.

When a dispute is created, all its activities are pre-planned according to IPS guidelines, but the default timetable may conflict with the calendar used by an issuer or acquirer. For example, an activity might fall on a holiday, weekend, or another inconvenient date. A new configuration parameter in Way4 allows the officer to pre-define how those conflicts should be handled. Way4 can automatically move the activity to the business day before or the next business day, or leave it on the default schedule.

This new parameter can also be reused for other workflows in Way4, for example, when a timetable is created to process a customer application for a new product.

For companies using online dispute channels, namely, RTSI for Visa and MCOM for Mastercard, the new update provides more useful automation features. Previously, Way4 retrieved dispute dates from the IPS and displayed them to the officer on the dispute assistant and dispute workbench screens. Now, these dates can be stored in parameters that influence Way4’s internal dispute timetable planning.

This enhancement is available to clients using the Way4 Dispute Assistant module.
