mVisa on POS Terminals

Acquirers on WAY4 can offer merchants a new acceptance channel for mVisa payments: POS terminals. If a buyer prefers mVisa, the cashier chooses this option at the POS and sends the purchase details to WAY4. Our system generates an order-specific mVisa QR code that displays on the terminal. The buyer’s mVisa-enabled mobile app scans the code to initiate a push payment. Finally, the POS terminal requests the payment status from the WAY4 host and, if successful, prints the receipt.

POS-based QR codes complement other WAY4 options for mVisa, such as QR codes displayed on paper stickers, at e-commerce webpages and on the screen of WAY4 Merchant Wallet.
