A client can select a transaction on his/her revolving card and transfer it to a separate account with a choice of instalment schemes. This service be requested at a bank or call center and via 24/7 online self-service channels – web and mobile banking, ATM, kiosk or IVR. Moreover, a payment scheme conversion can be activated automatically after a certain event, for example when a transaction amount exceeds a certain value.
The solution provides multiple tools to set up various instalment schemes with different interest rates and payment periods, and flexibly manage related prices and services. The schemes can be assigned to a revolving card or to other products. For each instalment credit, the WAY4 system manages special accounts related to the main card account. According to bank-defined rules, statements include separate information for each instalment, or simply the overall debt and due payment amount.
When the instalment option is requested, the system takes into account the client’s existing credit portfolio to calculate his/her maximum credit limit and maximum monthly payment.
