The new service can be activated by client without changing a telecommunication operator or a SIM-card. Due to WAY4 Mobile Banking, a handy menu will appear on a cell phone, enabling the user to request balance or statement, make a payment or money transfer, block a card, etc.
The new mobile banking can be used in any place of the world where cellular network functions. Data is transmitted via high-speed GPRS/EDGE/3G channels, or a standby SMS-channel. The security of WAY4 Mobile Banking is based on MMA technology, as recommended by major international payment systems.
“The year 2008 resulted in our 15% issuing increase and set us close to one million cards. To grow further, we offer new attractive services through the most cost-effective and convenient channels, such as web and mobile banking”, explained Igor Doinikov, the Head of Retail Business and Payment Systems Management Department of the Bank of Khanty-Mansiysk. “The WAY4 platform used for over 5 years, allows fast time-to-market for all our innovations. As a next step, OpenWay will enhance our mobile banking with target marketing, personal customer profile and payment templates management. Such options are in great demand and will support our target campaigns, expand the range of our services, while increasing ROI”.
